Standard returns policy

This Policy applies to products bought from Kid Got Style itself and from Third-Party Sellers.

This Policy forms part of the Kid Got Style Terms and Conditions, and so words defined in the Terms and Conditions have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

Due to the nature of the products we sell, we cannot accept any returns unless due to factory defect. Cloth nappies and their related accessories (e.g., inserts) are considered sanitary products. It’s therefore in our customers’ best interests that we do not accept returns on these nor offer exchanges.

Factory defects

Sanitary products have a 45-day guarantee on factory defects.

Manufacturing defects include stitching issues, broken/faulty snaps, faulty elastics and delamination of PUL. Note that the guarantee period is subject to strictly following the nappy care label instructions.

If you have received a product which turns out to be defective, please notify us as soon as reasonably possible after you become aware of the defect via email at info@kidgotstyle.co.za.

Preparing your products for a return

To ensure your request is processed as quickly as possible, you are responsible for the following when returning your products:

Failure to adhere to any of these requirements could delay the processing of your request or result in its decline altogether.

We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, replace the product (if we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement), credit your account with the purchase price of the product, or refund you.

Not what you ordered?

If we accidentally deliver the wrong product to you, please notify us at info@kidgotstyle.co.za and we will collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will, at your choice, deliver the correct product to you as soon as possible (if the correct product is available), credit your account with the purchase price of the product within 10 working days of the return, or refund you.

Products damaged on delivery

Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery/collection, please notify us within 7 days of such delivery/collection by logging a return via email at info@kidgotstyle.co.za

We will arrange to collect the product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will replace the product as soon as possible (if we have the same product in stock to use as a replacement), credit your account with the purchase price of the product, or refund you.

Due to the nature of our products, we won’t accept any returns if a product has been used or washed.

No product purchased while on sale or at a special discounted price will be eligible for a return, refund or exchange. 

Charges and refunds

If you return a defective product to us, but you fail to return all of the accessories and parts that were sold with that product, we are entitled to (subject to applicable law) refuse the return, or only to replace the item that you did return; or to estimate the value of the missing accessories and parts and to credit or refund you in respect of the returned item only.

If you return a product that does not comply with this Policy, you may be liable to reimburse Kid Got Style for the cost of collecting the product from you and the cost of having the product returned to you.

Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used – i.e. payment by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card, payment by Instant EFT will be refunded to your nominated bank account.

Delivery Policy

Orders over R950 are free of charge to local areas and main centres.

We arrange for collection from us by our courier partners on Mondays and Thursdays.

We use various courier companies to get your goodies to you within a reasonable time. We charge a flat rate depending on where you live and the size of your order.

All courier companies separate areas into three categories: local, main centre and regional. Because we’re based in Johannesburg, any area within Joburg is considered local. Main centre includes major cities outside of Joburg such as Durban and Cape Town. Regional includes plots and townships anywhere in the country.

We also offer a collection option in Johannesburg which is free of charge. Please note this only applies on Mondays and Thursdays between 9.30 am and 4 pm. Please try to let us know what time you plan to collect your order, and remember to wait for confirmation that your order is ready for collection.

Pudo delivery

You can select your delivery to be completed via Pudo, which is our most affordable option. We automatically ship directly to your address, so if you’d prefer to pick up from a locker, please let us know via email immediately after making your purchase on info@kidgotstyle.co.za. Remember that you need to pick up your package from a locker within 36 hours of receiving the notification that it’s ready for collection. If not, it will be sent to the nearest Pudo depot. Should this happen, any additional costs to obtain your parcel will be for your account. These are Pudo’s terms and conditions – it’s out of our control.
